The quality of the food and the individual, nice service are very good. The selection is not very large, but you get fresh products and good advice. The ambience in the old house is very nice. A visit is a real experience. Unfortunately there is no cheap house wine.

In my opinion the best Italian in Waldenbuch. Authentic cuisine, nice service, lovingly arranged ambience. Since there are only a few tables, it is safer to reserve in advance. The homemade olive oil is an insider tip. It is always worth taking a bottle with you. The food is also available to take away on request. This is a real alternative to the pizza service.

There was four of us eating here on a Sunday night. As a starter, we had ordered various typical Italian antipasti dishes (tomato mozzarella, Vitello tonnato, vegetables ... see pictures). Before that came a free "greeting" from the kitchen with pizza rolls, deep-fried pizza dough and a sour cream / yoghurt cream. For the main course we had 2 "Fritto Misto" with side salad (see pictures), a pizza and chicken breast with pasta. The food was really delicious! Not too bland, but not too seasoned either. The service was also very nice and courteous. We will definitely be back. ?

We thank you very much for the great catering! It was a perfect match. The food was outstanding and also an eye catcher. There was also praise from all sides! The service was also great, Ms. Datilla was always friendly and gave us great advice with her experience. We will definitely come to Waldenbuch for dinner in the near future. From a distance based on a recommendation we were here on Saturday evening and were thrilled. In addition to the excellent food (garden fresh rocket salad, buffalo mozarella, handmade ravioli, fritto misto, pannacotta with strawberries), we felt very comfortable due to the friendly, personal service of the hostess. Gladly again!

Super nice and cozy restaurant with Italian cuisine, in which suitable Swabian values ​​(flavors and shapes) are integrated! Add a bottle of Primitivo di Manduria and happiness is perfect!

I had a mixed salad and cannelloni that were excellent. All the pasta here is homemade. The owner claims her English is very bad, but the few words of English I heard were perfectly pronounced. She speaks both native Italian and German. Very friendly people and excellent service. I'll be using this restaurant frequently! Reservations are definitely recommended. I was impressed the first visit, but the second not so much when I ordered the lasagna. The pasta was so thin and the white sauce was non-existent.

Osteria de Maria has outstanding quality of food and wine. I had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection and the wine that was recommended was a perfect pairing. This is my favorite place to eat in the greater Stuttgart area.

Super cozy great location to eat Hammer. The building is a very old historical which looks very well maintained. If you come in the bottom floor is a kind of small shop with ice cream and the toilets on the first floor is the restaurant it is small but very fine. You are sitting very comfortably. we were very well served the waitress or boss is super nice and friendly. The food is amazing Everything was fresh and tasty so tastes like Italy. It is also very nicely done. It was our first visit but not our last. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar can also be purchased with plenty of choice. The olive oil is made by yourself.

The food was really good in taste, the service was very nice. The portions, however, were just too small for the price. Even in the city of Stuttgart you get more for the money (same quality etc.)

Hidden gem d'Italia! Maria and her family have mastered the fine art of hospitality. The thing that impressed me the most about dining there was the experience as a whole, so we'll put together and well done that it was like we were special guests in their house. Every part of our dining experience was high class with a small town Italian feel at an incredibly low price. The specials are the key. Very well priced for the authentic and delicious food and. Masterfully made fresh pasta and sauces. The eggplant parmesan appetizer is the best that I've eaten outside of Italy. The chocolate cake was rich but fluffy, perfect balance. The Pistachio Panna Cotta was out of this world. We ordered a ton of food and everyone in the party loved everything, not one complaint or crumb left on a plate. I spent two years in Italy and Osteria Da Maria is easily in the top tier of mainland restaurants. No question our new favorite Italian restaurant in southern Germany.

Excellent cuisine, the olives at the beginning as greetings from the kitchen were excellent. The service also very accommodating, and not to mention the ambience. Really small and fine. A very friendly managed restaurant that was furnished with a lot of charm. Varied Italian dishes that are very tasty and freshly prepared and taste very good. Not only the pizza, but also the fish dishes and especially the starters were able to convince me. A very well run restaurant where I feel very comfortable as a guest. We look forward to the next visit.

Really good Sicilian food and great atmosphere set in a historic half timber home from the 16th century. Maria and her family are the best hosts too!

We go here at least once a month. Maria is the best, she remembers all the things you like most, and the food is just perfect in quality and portion. Try the Primitivo wine, and ask if she has conolis for dessert!

Very friendly even though our reservation was messed up

Wonderful atmosphere and the homemade pasta was delicious. A large variety of daily specials is a nice addition to the menu and they are moderately priced. Osteria da Maria does not take credit cards, so plan ahead and bring cash.
